Real Estate Background
|
Since 1971, Mr. Cibula has been involved in the industrial real estate market as broker, investor, and developer. He founded Darwin Realty & Development Corporation in 1975 and has brokered some of the largest industrial real estate transactions in the Chicago area. Mr. Cibula has been involved in the sale of large industrial investment portfolios for clients including CenterPoint Properties, REIT, First Industrial REIT, Prudential Insurance, Lincoln National Life Insurance, and the RREEF Funds.
Mr. Cibula is the managing partner in over 60 industrial properties in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. These properties comprise approximately 3 million square feet of space and have over 200 tenants. He has developed over 3.5 million square feet of industrial properties for both Darwin-managed investment groups and national institutions.
In addition, Mr. Cibula has been involved in the acquisition, management, and disposition of third party logistics and trucking companies.
