Mr. Liston has been a major player in Chicago’s industrial real estate market since he joined Darwin in 1983. Not only has he been Darwin’s number one or two producer for each of the last fifteen years, he is one of Chicagoland’s top brokers. Mr. Liston executes over 120 transactions annually, including leasing, sales, sale-leasebacks, and investment acquisitions and dispositions. In 2006, his transactions totaled $225 million in value.
Mr. Liston has talent and determination that is simply unmatched by any other industrial broker. He has achieved Darwin’s broker of the year on 12 occasions. NICAR appointed him Industrial Broker of the Year in 2003. He was a finalist for the Chicago Food Depository’s prestigious Industrial Broker of the Year Award in 1999 and 2001.
Mr. Liston is a also a Principal of Value Industrial Partners, a real estate investment group that works closely with Darwin to provide comprehensive industrial real estate investment services. Collectively, Mr. Liston and Value Industrial Partners act as managing partner in 80 industrial properties. These properties total approximately 3.5 million square feet of space and has over 380 tenants.
