Real Estate Background
|
Mr. Moran acts as Chief Financial Officer for Darwin Realty and Darwin Asset Management. He negotiates loan terms and interest swaps with lenders on new acquisitions and refinancing. He communicates closely with owners regarding their investments and presents them with new financial models and products. In addition, Mr. Moran supervises the accounting and property management departments.
While acting as CFO for Darwin, Mr. Moran also worked for Darwin’s former sister logistics and transportation companies from 1997 to 2005. He managed two controllers; implemented cash management programs, procurement procedures, and capital investment programs; and acted as liaison to outside counsel, accountants, and bankers. Mr. Moran was instrumental in assisting with the disposition of these companies.

Business Background
|
Prior to entering the industrial real estate and logistics industries, Mr. Moran practiced public accounting for 13 years and attained partnership level in a large local firm. He audited manufacturing, service, and real estate clients, both private and SEC regulated. Mr. Moran also conducted due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, litigation support, and fraud auditing engagements.
